The Amorphous Problem of Dugongshushness
Problem 1 is defined recursively by its refusal to be formally stated. It is the boundary at which mapping operations annihilate the observer's intent.
The inquiry abandons the classical torus geometries, which have historically pacified researchers with false periodicity, and embeds the problem in the Banana Ambient space — infinite-dimensional, without a global metric, possessing only a local peel foliation. The Dugongian operator acts there as a geometry-destroying endomorphism.
Liam's Lemma is the decoupling mechanism. Once the geometry is stripped, the amorphous state is entirely independent of the operator that created it. The creator is locked out.
Dugongshushness is defined not by what it is but by its absolute resistance to being parameterised. The attempt to construct a mapping causes the researcher to forget what they were doing.
The Amorphous Conjecture: there exists a perfectly amorphous neighbourhood in which Dugongshushness is bounded, yet its Hausdorff dimension and fundamental group remain fundamentally unknowable. Stating the boundaries of that neighbourhood clearly enough to satisfy peer review invokes a geometric constraint, contradicts Liam's Lemma, and invalidates the inquiry.
Minotaur Algebra is the formal algebraic designation for this. Losing the researcher's thread is mathematically synonymous with severing Ariadne's. The Blob Product is strictly non-associative, and the non-associativity is how the maze remembers: the order in which turns are taken survives the operation. Were the system associative it would be a mere puddle.
Daedalus built the labyrinth and could not leave it either.
The Oversight Committee formally declines to reconcile the discrepancy between the Blob Product's non-associativity and its own puddle language, and explicitly bans the use of puddle metaphors in further grant applications.
The Institute declines to state whether anything, or anyone, is in there with the solver. It notes for the public record only that this specific question has never been put to Margeaux Two.
